Being able to relax is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your general health and wellbeing.

Research shows that conditions as varied as High blood pressure, Diabetes, Irritable Bowel syndrome, Acne, Asthma, Headaches, Back and Neck pain and Dementia can benefit from regular practise of a relaxation technique.

Our body’s stress response is a primitive survival response that prepares the body to run, fight or freeze. However our modern lifestyle is often relatively safe, but hectic and demanding. In the office, car or classroom, we cannot act as our body is telling us to (without getting into trouble!) and the stress response can become debilitating or damaging.

Relaxing effectively doesn’t just give health benefits – memory, concentration and ability to learn are also improved as is anger management.

If you need help to get started we offer individual relaxation sessions. Get 8-10 people together and we will run a workshop for you (1/2, full day or short session to suit). Ideal for schools, clubs, businesses or a pamper session with friends.
