I don’t have time to relax – what can I do?

Small children need lots of positive one-on-one interaction. It helps them develop important lifeskills involving feelings for example trust, security, coping with anger, bonding with others etc. Play Pause Unwind relaxation tracks are great for families to use together. Why not lean back against a bean bag together to listen? With very young children it doesn’t matter if they don’t understand every word, they will love the music and calming sound effects and you both benefit from unwinding and bonding together. If they get fidgety use the shorter tracks to start with – like ‘the beach’ or they may like to have some modelling clay or a soft toy to hold whilst they listen. Indulge in a short relax time together every day and it quickly becomes a must for you both. Can be a lifesaver to stop stressful situations escalating into confrontation! hope that helps.
